Tim has worked at KPMG for 19 years. Prior to joining the Singapore practice, he spent 7 years based in Bahrain as Director of KPMG’s Sales & Markets division in the Middle East and South Asia region. From 2005 he operated out of KPMG’s office in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia and led KPMG’s relationship with large Energy, Chemical and Governmental organisations. From 2000-2009 he was the Global Executive Director of KPMG’s Energy & Natural Resources practice initially based in London.
In Singapore, he is Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce’s Energy & Utilities Committee. He is a committee member of Women in Energy, Asia network and the Energy Institute (UK) Singapore branch.
Tim joined KPMG in Singapore in November 2012 to build the KPMG Global Energy Institute for Asia Pacific. He also leads the Chemical and Mining Institutes. He led KPMG’s first Global Energy Conference in Asia Pacific in April 2013. He develops thought leadership such as KPMG’s Study of Singapore’s role in the Oil & Gas Value Chain in Asia Pacific and the LNG and Trading series and liaises with government agencies.
In his role with KPMG International he coordinated KPMG’s relationships with leading industry bodies such as the World Petroleum Council and KPMG’s patron’s program with the World Energy Council and led KPMG’s participation at their Congresses from 2001-2008. He also has close relationships with the International Energy Agency, moderating two events as part of an Asian dialogue series. He is closely involved in KPMG’s participation with Gastech in their Gas and LNG conferences.
