Sylvain Gerard has held several positions during his 15 years’ career, starting with a 1-year Economic Cooperation Program for Total Chemicals at the Kenan CO 2 center (North Carolina State University – USA ) and then with 3 years in an Oil & Gas Licensing company, as process engineer executing projects for refineries.
Mr. Gerard joined Air Liquide in 2004 as Project Coordinator in the Research & Development group in Paris leading projects in the fields of Oil & Gas and Petro-Chemistry, aiming at developing new applications for the Air Liquide gas separation technologies. In 2010, he was Proposal Manager at the Global E&C Solutions BU and was responsible for developing proposals of Cryogenic Technologies for various markets (energy, oil & gas, steel industry).
Since 2014, Mr. Gerard is Product Manager of the AL E&C Natural Gas treatment technologies, responsible for selling on a worldwide basis and developing the product portfolio to make the AL E&C offering fitting new needs of the Oil & Gas customers.
Mr. Gerard has a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from French Engineer School ‘Ecole Centrale Marseille’.
