Master of Science majoring Internal Combustion Engine. Studied management skill at Seoul National University in 2007 and executive management course by MAN Group Program with WHU and Said School of Oxford University till 2010. President of MAN Diesel Korea since 2007 and head of Turbo-machineries business units of MAN Diesel & Turbo group for Korea, Japan & Taiwan till 2012. Executive Senior Vice President of DSEC, subsidy of Daewoo Shipbuilding Group as responsible for Global Business Development and Marketing of Ships and Power Plants till August 2013.

Currently full professor of National Korea Maritime & Ocean University and rescue team of shipbuilding industrial cluster of Busan Metropolitan City and leading Green Energy Center, mini-LNG Theme Cluster and developer of maritime industrial collaboration for “Korea-Indonesia” and ”Korea-Spain(Las Palmas de Gran Canaria)” in association with KMI.

Project developer of mini-LNG plants in Indonesia in association with JSK, Jakarta and of multi-functional Prompt Port Facility. Research interest on Energy Trend, LNG & Gaseous Fuel, Offshore Plants, Emission and efforts on the development of Floating Power Plant, LNG Fueled Plants and patented multi-functional Prompt Port Facility.

Served as Chair of World Ocean Forum & Kormarine Conference Program since 2014 and a member of various evaluation board of governmental projects for Republic of Korea, worked as Technical Member of German Lloyd Korea and vice Chairman of Korea Marine Engineers, auditor of KOFCE (Korea Assembly of CIMAC), Member of EUCCK etc.
